Data Retention

Your Data, Your Control

Tediware is a transient processing layer. Your data passes through our system for transformation and delivery, but it is not ours to keep. We do not mine, sell, or permanently store your data.

You are responsible for capturing your processed data as it flows through Tediware, whether via webhooks, the API, or direct downloads. The retention periods below exist only to give you a reasonable window to retrieve your data and troubleshoot any issues. After that window closes, data is automatically removed.

Processing Data

Results from flow processing are retained for 45 days. After that period, they are automatically removed. Results that are associated with billing records or logs are kept until those associated records are also removed.

Logs

Processing logs are retained for 45 days. Logs older than 45 days are automatically removed.

EDI Transactions

EDI transaction records are hidden after 45 days and permanently removed after 120 days, once associated billing records have been cleaned up.

Billing Records

Billing event records are retained for 120 days after they have been reported to Stripe. You can retrieve billing data from Stripe for any period.

Webhook Delivery History

Records of webhook deliveries (including payloads and responses) are retained for 30 days. After that period, delivery history is automatically removed. This does not affect your webhook configuration – only the historical delivery records are cleaned up.

Uploaded Files

Files uploaded to the platform, including artifacts like EDI and JSON files, that are no longer associated with any record are automatically removed after 7 days.

General Note

All retention periods are applied automatically. You do not need to take any action to manage data cleanup. If you have specific compliance or data retention requirements, please contact support.
