This is the home of the open source software that we create and maintain, starting with tediparse.

Tediparse is a high-quality library for parsing, generating, validating, and manipulating ASC X12 EDI documents. It’s a fork of stupidedi, an existing, popular X12 library written in Ruby. Tediparse is a streamlined version of the library with some important bug fixes and improvements, as well as the removal of all X12 content.

Tediparse is what Tediware uses to parse and tokenize X12 documents. It’s a battle-tested library you can count on. If you’re interested in expanding what’s available in EDI’s open source ecosystem, we’d love to have your contributions.
