For example, ArtBox Transportation, a regional carrier based in Ohio, sends a Vehicle Carrier Rate Update to FreightBridge, a digital freight marketplace. The document includes rate origin information identifying ArtBox, an effective date of the new rates (captured in G62), and multiple rate records showing updated prices for lanes like Columbus to Atlanta at $2.10 per mile for standard service and Chicago to Memphis at $2.35 per mile for expedited service. FreightBridge receives the update, loads the new rates into their system, and customers can immediately access ArtBox’s current pricing when requesting quotes for shipments on those routes.
