For a product like stainless steel bolts, the LIN segment identifies the item, PID segments describe the material and finish specifications, multiple CTP segments under the CTP loop provide tiered pricing (for example, $0.85 per unit at quantities 1–100, $0.72 per unit at 101–500, $0.60 per unit at 500+), and DTM segments note the effective date of the price list.
